Howard: You are like a bulldog set to the task of chewing a bone. You did what you said you could do and you did it within the time frame that you said you ordinarily could do it in. You now have my vote and I am a believer in Howard C. Richmond. Coldwell Banker had my home listed for 6 months and I received two offers that were unacceptable. In the three weeks that you had this home listed before an acceptable contract came along, I had more agents show the home than I had seen in the previous six months. In addition, there were a total of three offers for purchase. Wow! Rarely do you find or see a person who has confidence in his ability to do exactly what he says he can do. You are one of those exceptions and a very talented man. You raised the price of my home and you brought me an acceptable contract for sale within three weeks. Thank you for working so hard and for holding my hand throughout the experience. I am sure that you cannot always bat 100 percent, however, that would be out of your control. You do appear to have the ability to know when the universe is all aligned for you to do your thing and then you jump on it and bring it home. That is how this ordeal has appeared to me. We have now been to the closing and I have banked my check for the sale of my home. So now that I have received my price on the home I feel that you are entitled to a big “THANK YOU” for a job well done by a professional demonstrating excellence in the performance of his duties. Dear Howard, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for going above and beyond anything we had expected in the service you provided us in selling our home in Hauula. I was speaking with my wife yesterday and remarked that I was so impressed with what you did for us every step of the way in this often emotional and difficult process of selling our home-especially since we are no longer living in Hawaii. I especially appreciate your very warm, friendly, and professional manner in dealing with not only us as the sellers but with the buyers and their agents as well. Your multiple calls each day as we approached the closing helped us feel that all would be well in spite of several last-minute surprises. Thank you for being so proactive from the first time you contacted us regarding selling our home (which we had just taken off the market after 7 months of no activity) to today when you followed up with the few remaining strings that needed to be tied even after the purchase of the home formally concluded yesterday. Howard (and his wife) are both amazing individuals that I am lucky enough to say worked with over the last year. Howard was our landlord/property manager for a beautiful townhouse in Kapolei, HI. He not only helped us figure out what renting in Hawaii looked like while I was still living in Washington, but also was very helpful regarding move-in, move-out, and rent. The entire time I rented from Howard he was readily reachable, friendly, polite, helpful, and respectful. We had to have a couple of repairs done to the unit shortly after moving in and he was able to get someone out to help us (free of charge) within 24 hours! Talk about service! Unfortunately, I had to end my lease two months early and was unable to give more than 20 days' notice. However, this didn’t phase Howard as he took it all in stride. He worked with us to get checked out of the unit he managed and was more than flexible in not penalizing us (unlike most landlords) for moving out well before our lease was up. Overall, I am incredibly impressed with Howard in his role as a landlord/property manager and would be more than happy to rent from/work with him again.

In May I sold my home through Mr. Howard C. Richmond who served as my realtor. I was extremely satisfied with Mr. Richmond’s services throughout the transaction. For example: When I interviewed Mr. Richmond to consider whether or not to list with him, he was warm, confident, and willing to answer my questions on how he would market my house. Within a day or so of listing my house, I had a steady stream of potential buyers coming to view the house. Whenever I called with a question, Mr. Richmond returned my call promptly-even after we had a contract on the house. Even two months after closing on the house, he’s been a great help to me. I received a bill in error. When I called Mr. Richmond, he simply took care of it. Selling a home is a stressful experience. Mr. Richmond made it as pleasant as it could be. If I needed to sell another home, I would call him. I unreservedly recommend him as a realtor for any buying/selling transaction.

We have found Howard Richmond to be a very effective and competent realtor. He was friendly, and efficient, and made a satisfactory and speedy sale of our property. He follows through to solve any problems that may arise during or after the sale has been completed.
